160 days to the event

More than a hundred partners, representatives of the European Commission, experts in the economy, local government and science, presidents of management, university rectors, presidents, mayors and mayors of cities and communes from all over Poland – this is how Poland’s VII Congress of Entrepreneurship can be described 160 days before the inauguration of the event.

On October 24-25, over a thousand people will meet in Olsztyn, who during nearly 30 discussion panels will address the most important issues from the point of view of the Polish and European economy. Their participation in the Congress was confirmed by, among others: Jurgen Tiedje – representative of the European Commission for research and innovation, Krzysztof Wójcik – Directorate General for Regional Policy of the European Commission, Edyta Demby-Siwek– p.o. President of the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz – Minister of Labor and Social Policy in 2011-2015, dr hab. n.med. Waldemar Wierzba – director of the Department of Health of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Wojciech Wardacki – president of Grupa Azoty SA, Przemysław Talkowski – Polsat News, Dr Zygmunt Krasiński – director of the National Contact Point for European Union Research Programs, Monika Constant – director of the Franco-Polish Chamber of Commerce, Ewa Mróz – American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, Izabela Kapiasova – director of the Czech-Polish Chamber of Commerce, Beata Tadla – television presenter, Czesław Lang – organizer of the Tour de Pologne or Krzysztof Hołowczyc – rally driver.

The subject of this year’s edition of the Polish Congress of Entrepreneurship is based, inter alia, on issues related to innovation, technology transfer, regional development, entrepreneurship, the labor market, environmental protection, industry 4.0, smart city and medicine. Our assumption is that the agenda of the event responds to current trends and challenges facing the Polish economy – says Wojciech Pomarański – the organizer of the event.

Open Stage – B2B meetings – exhibition zone

The event will include, among other things, an exhibition zone, under which Polish companies, universities, local governments and institutions will be able to present their products and services. A number of workshops, bilateral meetings and presentations were also planned. This year, the Open Stage will also be open, during which presentations of startups, debates and special guests’ speeches will take place.

Thanks to the cooperation with a number of bilateral chambers, the participants of the congress will have the opportunity to establish contacts with representatives of foreign entities, including the United States, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania and Ukraine.

The honorary patronage over the event was taken by such institutions as: European Commission, European Committee of the Regions, Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy, Ministry of Health, Polish Investment and Trade Agency, National Center for Research and Development, National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, Polish Society Economic, Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities, Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, National Chamber of Commerce, National Contact Point for European Union Research Programs, Association of Polish Cities, Association of Polish Poviats, Polish Economic Institute.
